My Hero

I was honored to have an article and art published about how my precious 17-year-old daughter fought for her life and died a hero in my eyes. You'll find it in the Melange section, page 50, in Somerset Studio, May/June 2008. As difficult as it was to write, it is a wonderful way to memorialize one who had so much life yet to live. Hi Iva, just checking in on you. I lit candles today for your beautiful Brianna & my friends, relatives & even fur babies that have crossed over.
Gosh I miss them all so much it hurts. :( But we will be with them all too soon, I take comfort in that...
