Last night, John and I went to Berkeley's Repertory Theater to see Aurelia's Oratorio! What a delight! It was part illusion, part magic, part circus fun, part puppet show and so much more! We came away feeling as if we had watched a dream on stage. Very few words were spoken and Aurelia Thieree, the star of the show, was spectacular. You can see that she was brought up in the circus. The show's promo material says it's where the impossible happens before your eyes and it literally does! This is the opening scene. It has sparked my imagination to create some paintings and perhaps some paper mache pieces from the imagery. If you have a chance to see the show, I highly recommend it!! Enjoy!

I miss your fun-loving, vivacious personality and most of all your hugs and words, "I love you, mom."
To read about Brianna's fight for her life, you'll find her story

I was honored to have an article and art published about how my precious 17-year-old daughter fought for her life and died a hero in my eyes. You'll find it in the Melange section, page 50, in
