Two little witch sisters are ready for some Halloween Mischief making! This beeswax ACEO collage is now available in my eBay auctions, along with one other mixed media art card (2-1/2" by 3-1/2") and several other Halloween pieces. I love the dreamy effect of beeswax on a collage. This one is heavily coated and then buffed to a nice shine.
I am thinking of a year ago when I was happily creating and the world was full of wonder. It was about this time Brianna was diagnosed, and the world changed for us. I think back on those happy memories with my two children and wonderful husband. If only we can turn back the clocks. I'd live in that time forever. But change is always imminent. Don't let the magic of the season slip away without keeping focus on what matters most in life. I have Trevor and John, my extended family and all of you my friends. Be well...Iva
Hi Iva ~ ADORE your new ACEO's! The beeswax adds a great, almost vintage like patina...I'm sure they look even better in person.
PS: Patiently awaiting my surprise... '-P)
XOXO

Thank you for the First Friday visit and good luck in the drawings. Very nice work and I'm really drawn to Beeswax. I plan to dabble in it a little.

Just found your blog....I love your creations...you are so talented! I am so sorry to read about your beautiful daughter and your loss. Although it is so different, I lost my father a little over 3 years ago to brain cancer. I wrote a blog entry about this on my Sept. 13th entry. I must confess that my only real comfort comes in knowing that in heaven he is whole again and so is your lovely little girl. We will see them both again. Many sincere hugs to you and your family...
