Last September at the Tinsel and Treasures folk art show, I had the privilege of meeting Lisa Swifka, of A Whimsical Bohemian. I was setting up my table, and I overheard fellow artist Donna O'Brien greeting a woman with a camera and a bubbly personality. Soon, Lisa and I were introduced and I learned about her knack for connecting people across the blogosphere. You see, Lisa is the brainchild behind the One World - One Heart (OWOH) blog phenomenon, which is a way to meet new and wonderful people all across the globe. After learning more about the blog event, I decided I had to join fun. You can read more about the history of her great idea here.
Leave a Comment for a Chance to Win
So what does it all mean? It means YOU have a chance to win a vintage-style bracelet and necklace I created. I've collaged a beautiful handmade gold floral paper as the base, and on top I've added all sorts of vintage images from my collection. Both have images around the perimeter. The inside of the bracelet is also collaged. A light dusting of bronze mica adds just the right amount of sparkle. The necklace is 18" long with a lobster clasp and leather cording, while the bracelet is 1-1/4" wide and 3" in diameter. If you'd like more information, just contact me.
You have until Feb. 12 to leave a comment to enter the giveaway. At some point during Feb. 12, I will close the comments and choose a winner. It's that simple!
BUT... you don't want to stop there. There are many, many more artists and everyday folks who are also participating and providing a giveaway if you just stop by and say hello. Simply head on over to the One World - One Heart blog and find the participant list on the blog's sidebar. Click on the link and get swept up in the blog party! (see more photos of bracelet below.)
Wonderful idea Lisa! I hope you all enjoy the fun and don't forget to leave a comment to enter!
